7:30 breakfast came early because we had to catch a bus to Wurzburg at 8:30. A tour of the Residenz Palace had been arranged and it was magnificent inside. The ceiling frescos, the mirrored room and the white room restorations were incredible but "no photos allowed" except in the garden.
From the residenz we walked to the city center and then back to the ship for lunch.
There are often regional specialties choices with our meals now. Last night there were these very strange sausages that appeared to have been boiled but the filling was very loose. The guest local chef was apparently responsible for those and I saw quite a lot of them returned uneaten.
At 3:30, we went to a galley tour of the kitchen where our food is prepared.
